Beach side appeal

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

The deep blue colors of the seas and oceans appear to be fascinating to everyone when seen on a movie theatre screen. The sandy beaches are a picturesque treat for human eye. Bollywood films exploit this natural beauty by shooting scenes of romantic songs on a beach or deep inside the oceans on board the cruise liners. The songs thus produced have a good natural appeal and are nice to be seen in a movie. A great lot of action is sometimes filmed in water by showing great chases and races on motor boats and big and small vessels.

The perfect locations

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

The film people have always been pioneers in searching new and never visited places and thus they are always in search of locations. They then venture towards hilly areas and make their shooting schedules on and near hill stations. As a result they are able to show the people the natural beauty of hilly areas to the general public living miles away from hills. They thus also do the job of finding new tourist destinations for people thus helping the people to enjoy on screen and also by making them tempted to visit the hill stations and have a vacation.

Road side fights and smalltime villains

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

Our films many a times show street dons and hit men fighting here and there and then slowly becoming a real time follower of great Dons. They are then shown to be evolving into a good human being and turning into a savior of people whom he earlier tortured for small financial gains .thus these movies try to show how a good person can always remain good from deep within even if he is doing wrong deeds due to certain circumstances. Thus it is a matter of great delight to see one’s favorite hero turning to evil and then back into a real hero. This is the key note of such films.

Wars and Battles as themes of movies

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

A number of films have portrayed military operations or wars as their themes and were a great success. For example the films like Border, LOC Kargil, and Tango Charlie were very appealing in the way they had shown military action. The film Border by J.P.Dutta was an instant hit at the Box Office. The lead roles were played by Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Shetty, Puneet Issar, and Akshay Khanna. It has shown a great military action in the desert Rajasthanwhere Pakistani forces attacked India and wanted to advance into Indian Territory and our soldiers stopped them by laying down lives.

Exploding scenes in films

Friday, June 29th, 2007

By exploding scenes here I mean to say the scenes involving explosives. In this we come across sudden explosions blowing up cars, buildings, and other places like market, shops, offices and railway stations. Very powerful bombs are shown to go off creating a lot of damage to life and property of people. Many scenes are so horrifying that one just gets scared and would never forget such a scene. Many cars are shown to fly off into pieces. Such scenes are always welcome because of their thrill and power. like exploding scenes in films and not real life! Do you?

Spontaneous flow of emotions

I sometimes watch a movie due to its emotional appeal. Many movies are based on daily life emotional happenings in the lives of people .Such movies appeal to a large number of audience specially Indian women. They love to watch emotional films. They are so impressed that they would start crying at seeing a character suffering in the movie. They like to see emotional scenes played by actresses like Rakhi Gulzar and the like. Most of the old Hindi film actresses were expert in creating emotional scenes and their crying and sobbing had many women to weep along while watching a movie.

The Hindi cinema has always had some of the actors those were and are the real muscle power onscreen as well as off the screen. The hero of the film fans Sunny Deol is a perfect muscle man of the Hindi Film Industry. The list of his fans is very big. Every second person is his fan. He has shown to be a real muscle man, in the sense that he does not have a pseudo power. His muscles are real ones which he had built by hard work and with the help of any drugs or injections. That is why everyone is a fan of him.

The Gulshan Grover or the Gullu punch

Thursday, June 28th, 2007

The Bollywood films have portrayed great villains in various films. The greatest of them perhaps in my opinion is The Gullu or Gulshan Grover. He is also known as The Bad Man. He has acted in more than six hundred and fifty films of Bollywood and has created an image of an undisputed villain of the silver screen. His appearance on the screen means something really bad is about to happen. Each and every role of a villain he played created a history. He is known as the bad man of Bollywood.

Kangana’s new life change

Saturday, June 23rd, 2007

Kangana Ranaut is currently going through a lifestyle change. She spends most of her time meditating and doing yoga, and believes in Karamyoga, and the reason for this is to awaken her subconscious mind. Apparently the actress has given up salt, alcohol and physical relationships and even her friend’s circle, and these days she is only to wear white clothes. Kangana specifies that she is not a yogi, but in fact prefers to concentrate on her work, meditation and pranayam and classical singing.
