Akshay will not be playing the role of Tatya Tope in Firoz Ndiawala’s film any more. But the role seems to be chasing him. It is heard that Sushmita Sen who is doing her directorial debut with her dream film Rani Laxmi Bai is said to have approached Akshay to play the role of the brave warrior Tatya Tope. It s said that she gave him a call showed her desire to work with him. Sushmita feels that no one but Akshay can do justice to the role and is waiting for a reply from his side. Rani Laxmi Bai will be a period film and Sushmita plans to release the film by the end of next year. This film will have both national and international stars.

In 2007 Akshay gave hits in a row in terms of Heyy Babyy, Bhool Bhulaiya, Namestey London and Welcome and since then there has been no looking back for Akshay Kumar. A source said that there is a long queue of producers behind Akshay waiting to sign up films with him but Askhay is so busy with his work that he has no free time at all. His latest film to hit the screen was Tashan where he played a cool and rough guy. Akshay is happy about his look and the character in the film. From his busy schedule it seems it becomes very difficult for Akshay to take out time for his Wife Tina and his son.

Lara Dutta was supposed to be a part of the much talked about Bachchan family’s tour called Unforgettable. One will be able to see stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Ritesh Deshmukh in the show. But Lara opted out at the last minute due to her leg injury. She is really upset that she can not be a part of the tour. Akshay Kumar on the other hand was supposed to be a part of the earlier but also stepped out the last minute. But the news now is that Akshay Kumar is very much a part of the show. Due to his date problems Akshay will not be the part of the show in all the cities. Talks are going on to sign more bollywood stars for the show.
